Junque Journal 02 Digital Scrapbook and Art Journal Collection by Vicki Robinson Designs
A “junque” journal is a handmade or altered book that is usually made up of all kinds of recycled items such as papers from magazines, brochures, patterned paper, music sheets, envelopes, packaging, brown paper bags, maps, greeting cards, postcards, doilies – you name it!
And this digital version is just that – is an eclectic collection of stickers, stitches, birds, ephemera, tags, word strips, and loads of paint elements. I’ve even included a few vintage photos.
About now you’re probably asking yourself WHY would I put those bits into a kit. Well, the answer is that since this is a random collection of things, there is no overall “theme” or subject of the kit. And that means you have the freedom to make any kind of page that floats your boat. No expectations or external pressure to conform.
Junque Journals – you don’t need anything special to create a journal page. In fact, you don’t even have to “purpose” or “vision” for a journal page. Just grab everyday, ordinary pictures and go. You’d be surprised where your instinct takes you.
